Katey Coffing, Ph.D. - Life Coach

What is life coaching?

Life coaching is a powerful, motivating partnership that helps you with your goals. We focus on what you want for your writing (and your life) and work together to accomplish that vision. As your coach, I'm a listener, an encouraging friend, and a supportive ally with valuable suggestions up her sleeve!

We brainstorm together about obstacles and get you organized and productive. Our powerful conversations clarify your goals and help you reach them. When was the last time you had someone focus entirely on you to help you get where you want to go?

My clients are whole and complete. They've accepted their pasts and concentrate on their present and future. They take responsibility for their choices and want to benefit from the synergy and focus of a coaching relationship. They're artistic individuals who choose to work with a life coach to accelerate their creativity and achievements.

I help my clients break through limitations and go for what they really want. I'm a "thinking partner" who will honor your goals and values...a supportive collaborator who can help you upgrade your life...an ally who'll encourage you to achieve your dreams. Success resides within each of us. It's a form of magic that emerges when we open ourselves to it, and change wishing into DOING. Are you ready to do what's important to you?

My role as a life coach is to:

  • support and encourage you and your writing
  • listen
  • ask direct and powerful questions
  • provide a fresh perspective
  • acknowledge and motivate
  • help you plan, strategize, and achieve
  • accelerate your solutions
  • brainstorm and suggest
  • tell the truth
  • provide accountability
  • trust you to make your own decisions

Your role as a life coaching client is to:

  • show up
  • bring a particular issue to work on each time
  • tell the truth
  • think, hear and feel
  • consider options
  • listen to your mind and heart
  • make choices
  • take action
  • be willing to step outside your comfort zone
  • accept responsibility for your feelings and decisions
  • work toward your dreams and an extraordinary, fulfilling life

What a life coach does NOT do:

  • judge
  • fix
  • diagnose or treat
  • make decisions for you
  • solve your problems for you

Your choices and decisions are always yours—but together, we'll find options and pathways you might not have seen. Together we can improve your writing career and your life.

Are you ready for coaching? Take a short quiz to find out. Want more information? See my clients' testimonials, read more about me, or check the Life Coaching FAQ. And make an appointment for a free, no-obligation "get acquainted" call—you'll see for yourself how life coaching can work for you.

To choose a time, email or call me at (888) 926-2244. I'm in the U.S. Pacific time zone. If you're outside the U.S., email and we'll arrange an alternative phone number. Since I coach by telephone, geography makes no difference. I want you to succeed, and I'm here to help you do it.

Become your #1 priority. Hire a life coach.
